What changed and why

This community told us what was working and what was standing in the way. The 2026 Boost formula adds the most significant new ingredient in the range's history, upgrades the minerals for better absorption and removes the ingredient most commonly flagged as a barrier for women on thyroid medication.

The original formula

  • No Co Enzyme Q10
  • Zinc Oxide
  • No Magnesium
  • No Vitamin B2
  • Kelp Extract -- unsuitable for women on thyroid medication
  • Chromium Picolinate

Upgraded for 2026

  • Co Enzyme Q10 50mg -- major new addition for cellular energy production
  • Zinc Bisglycinate -- significantly better absorbed than Zinc Oxide
  • Magnesium Bisglycinate 100mg -- new addition for energy and muscle function
  • Vitamin B2 2mg / 143% NRV -- new addition for energy metabolism
  • Kelp removed -- now more suitable for women managing thyroid conditions
  • Chromium removed -- now only in Advanced Plus and Curb, simplifying combined supplementation

Every change was made because of what this community told us. More inclusive, better absorbed and with a genuinely significant new ingredient added where it matters most.

What's in the new formula

CO ENZYME Q10 -- WHY THIS ADDITION MATTERS

CoQ10 is a compound your body produces naturally, and one that declines significantly as you age. It sits at the heart of how your mitochondria produce energy, which means a decline in CoQ10 is a direct contributor to the kind of deep, cellular fatigue that menopause accelerates. Research also shows that HRT can decrease serum concentrations of CoQ10, making supplementation particularly relevant for women in this community. We have added 50mg of CoQ10 to the 2026 Boost formula.

Co Enzyme Q10, Caffeine Anhydrous, Green Tea Leaf Extract

The fatigue that menopause brings is not ordinary tiredness -- it is cellular. Your mitochondria, the parts of your cells responsible for producing energy, become less efficient as oestrogen declines and CoQ10 levels drop. This group works at that level. Co Enzyme Q10 directly supports the mitochondrial energy production process. Green Tea Extract and natural caffeine provide cleaner, more sustained energy without the crash that comes from stimulants alone. This is not about pushing through -- it is about giving your body what it needs to produce energy the way it used to.

Apple Cider Vinegar, L-Carnitine L-Tartrate, Cayenne Pepper Extract

The weight that arrives during menopause is metabolic, not moral. Your metabolism slows, fat storage patterns shift and the things that used to work simply stop working. Apple Cider Vinegar supports healthy blood sugar and digestive function. L-Carnitine supports how your body converts fat into fuel -- the process that becomes less efficient as oestrogen declines. Cayenne supports circulation and metabolic rate. This group does not promise miracles. It gives your metabolism meaningful, natural support at the point in your life when it needs it most.

Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B6

B vitamins are the quiet workers in any energy formula -- and Boost now contains four of them. Vitamins B1, B2 and B3 all contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. These are authorised health claims that mean exactly what they say. Vitamin B6 contributes to normal psychological function and to the regulation of hormonal activity -- directly relevant as oestrogen's effect on mood and hormonal balance shifts during menopause. Vitamin B2 is a new addition to the 2026 formula, completing a B vitamin complex that the original Boost formula did not have.

Magnesium Bisglycinate, Zinc Bisglycinate

Both minerals in the 2026 formula use Bisglycinate forms -- chelated, significantly better absorbed and gentler on the digestive system than the Oxide forms used in most supplements. Magnesium is new to Boost in 2026, supporting energy production, muscle function and the nervous system. Zinc has been upgraded from Zinc Oxide to Zinc Bisglycinate for the same reason -- better in, better used, better felt. Zinc contributes to normal metabolism and to the maintenance of normal bone, hair and skin -- all of which are directly affected by the hormonal changes of menopause.

How to take it

Two capsules, once a day, both taken together with breakfast. Simple, consistent and timed to support your energy from the first meal of the day.

1

Take both capsules with breakfast

Both capsules are taken together with your morning meal rather than split across the day. Taking Boost with food supports absorption and means the metabolic and energy ingredients are active during the hours your body needs them most -- the morning and early afternoon when energy demands are highest.

2

Use alongside Advanced Plus and the plan

Boost works best as part of the full Menopause Diet approach. Advanced Plus covers appetite, mood and broad-spectrum support. Boost adds the cellular energy, metabolism and B vitamin layer. The plan provides the nutritional foundation underneath both. Together they address more of what menopause does to your body than any single product can alone.

What our community says

Common Questions

Find the most frequently asked questions below.

Possibly. The primary ingredient that made Boost unsuitable for many women on thyroid medication was Kelp Extract -- which contains iodine and can interfere with thyroid function and levothyroxine. Kelp has been completely removed from the 2026 formula. We strongly recommend taking the new full ingredient list to your GP or pharmacist for a fresh assessment before starting.

Yes. Boost is a natural food supplement and is welcome alongside GLP-1 medication. Many women in our community use Boost while on GLP-1 treatment to support their metabolism and energy levels as their appetite and food intake changes. We always recommend keeping your healthcare team informed.

Yes. Boost is compatible with all forms of HRT. Research also shows that HRT can decrease the body's natural CoQ10 levels -- making the addition of Co Enzyme Q10 in the 2026 formula particularly relevant for women on HRT. As always we recommend mentioning any new supplement to your GP or pharmacist.

Yes. The capsule shell is vegetarian and plant-based and all ingredients in the 2026 formula are suitable for vegans.

Boost contains 50mg of caffeine per serving from natural caffeine anhydrous and Green Tea Extract. This is roughly equivalent to half a cup of coffee. If you have been advised to limit caffeine by your GP or experience sensitivity please check before starting. The Max Effect Trio includes Advanced Plus which also contains natural caffeine from Guarana -- if caffeine is a concern across the full supplement range please discuss with your GP.

Alongside. Advanced Plus and Boost are designed to complement each other -- Advanced Plus covers appetite regulation, mood and broad-spectrum support while Boost adds the cellular energy, metabolism and B vitamin layer. They address different aspects of what menopause does to your body and together they cover significantly more ground than either one alone. The Max Effect Trio adds Curb for blood sugar and craving support between meals.
